COMING SOON…Sgt. Jordan Castro

Sgt. Jordan Castro who has been part of NYPD for over a decade  is the author to the novel, “Smoke and Mirrors: Police Dreams.”

His book was inspired after the deaths of two police officers, Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu back in December 2014. And although the novel takes place in a fictional section of the Bronx, it reflects the reality of police officers and their communities.

On Friday, November 10th, BXTRA will sit with Sgt. Castro to talk about the novel, his career, and the relationship between police and the community.

Perhaps we can clear some smoke to reflect more positivity happening on city streets.
